Bachelor of Business [B.Bus] [Travel and Tourism] From Macleay College

The Bachelor of Business specializing in Travel & Tourism will teach the specific skills required by the travel and tourism industry, whilst developing important business skills needed to succeed in any business context.

• In Year 1 the Bachelor of Business will teach about the current and future direction of tourism, the laws that affect the industry, the A to Z of codes used in airline reservations, ticketing, eco, and specialist tourism.student will get to visit a local travel consultant or a major tour operator and learn about how a travel agency operates. Student will gain a broad overview of how to work successfully in business or even set up a business by own, through the skills gained from entrepreneurship projects.
• In Year 2 students will develop skills in destination management to further career opportunities.student will immerse in detailed business skills such as leadership, strategic management, project management and business finance.student will know how to make solid business decisions based on a thorough understanding of economic and marketing data. Two elective subjects also provide the flexibility to follow a specific interest.
